Social Committee Events Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner - The Shrove Tuesday Pancake Dinner marks the beginning of the Lenten season and the first annual event sponsored by the Social Committee. Members prepare a menu of pancakes and sausage, syrup, iced tea and lemonade.Lenten Fish Dinners - Fridays during Lent, parishioners and their guests enjoy a freshly prepared dinner of baked fish, potatoes, vegetable, salad, fresh bread and a variety of delicious desserts, Proceeds from these dinners go to St. Vincent de Paul to assist in their charitable work for the less fortunate of our community.Shrimp Feast - Held just before the summer vacation, the parish Shrimp Feast fare includes gumbo, boiled shrimp in Old Bay seasoning, salad, fresh bread and desserts. What a great way to get the feel of the Chesapeake during the summer.Oktoberfest - Put on your leiderhosen! Bring on the Oompah band! Come join us in the Fall when leaves are turning and the weather chills for knockwurst and beer. Once again there is fresh bread, salad, and great desserts. Music will be supplied so make it a fun-filled evening out.
